The content of this photographic research is the “REFLECTIONS”.
The artist photographer tries to see through what the water, through pollution, reflects in a distorted, casual and extremely pictorial way, as if reality were melting. It’s as if they wanted to represent our dreams, our anguish and our anxieties.
Dreaming means having a blurred, evanescent and difficult to understand vision of the events of our existence, as are the reflections photographed by the author.
We often find ourselves in a pool of water or on the edge of the sea and, depending on its depth and clarity, see our figure and what surrounds us reflected in a poorly defined way, mixing with an unusual oily alchemy.
Through this experience and with these reflections the photographer took the inspiration for the realization of this research, where, delimiting the shot with the use of a telephoto lens, and, carefully trying to see strange abstract figures that take shape in surreal images, of great emotional impact, very close to watercolor paintings, with sometimes pastel shades, but often with strong tones, presenting a state of agitation and anguish, and then reassuring in calmer and calmer images.
