Our Region, in particular the “Piceno”, is a land rich in breathtaking landscapes, made unique by the skilled hands of those who work it, transform it, model it, making it close to human needs.
With the attentive eye of the photographer and the use of the telephoto lens, these landscapes, inserted into a frame with well-defined edges, collect a summary of history, folklore, colors and textures, shaped by the expert hands of man, thanks also to a rich and generous nature.
The idea for the realization of this photographic research called “Essential Landscapes” was born from the particular predisposition of the photographic artist to observe inside these landscapes, for which several years of work were necessary, and to force the natural wide-angle vision of our eye, to train ourselves to observe the environment with great attention as if with a lens, where we can find or even discover sublime corners, to be portrayed in a well-defined way, like wanting to frame, for the pure pleasure, a corner of our earth and wanting to keep a small detail, like the most significant piece of a “puzzle”, from which the entire content of the work can be understood.
